The novelties of this edition
A wine tasting that will bring together heads of consular offices, leading business people from the Western part of the country, officials, heads of Timis institutions, cultural personalities and journalists; a group of tourism journalists from Bucharest and other cities across the country, who will participate at the exhibition and at the press conference. They will also visit one or two wineries in the west of our country.
The International Wine Exhibition VINVEST Timisoara is the perfect place for the public to test the best wines, know them or to buy new ones already known by the connoisseurs.
At the traditional place of the exhibition, the Regional Business Center Timisoara, dozens of wine producers, distributors, importers and wine industry companies come to present new technologies, new products, new business opportunities to an increasingly demanding and growing expectations audience.
6.000 – 7.000 estimated visitors
For this edition, from 6 – 8 April 2012, the no. of estimated visitors at VINVEST Timisoara is 6.000 – 7.000 visitors.
In the last 8 years, the number of visitors has grown with each edition of VINVEST. In the 8th edition of 2011, visitors number, counted by the number of sold tickets and invitations, was about 6,000 people.
Tasting demonstrations
The public will be able to register at free of charge wine tasting demonstrations. Sommeliers and tasting experts will lead lessons of wine culture. Organized at the stands or in a conference room specially equipped for wine presentation.
Wine Tourism
VINVEST is more than a wine exhibition. The fair is a true promoter not only of wine but the wine tourism. At the Regional Business Center, between 6-8 April, the visitors can see the holiday offers for the most beautiful wine regions in the country.
Wine and art
Young artists will participate in the Exhibition and will show to the visitors and exhibitors their art works. Members of art associations and artists will show the perfect mix between wine and art.
VINVEST, almost a decade
In 2012, VINVEST – The International Wine Exhibition turns 9 years. This edition is preparing the celebration of 10 years in which good wine was successfully promoted in a high class event. One can say that is a “general public rehearsal” for what will happen in 2013, the year of Jubilee VINVEST fair. Partners and wine lovers will be rewarded with surprises even since the 9th edition.
